▶ GENERAL

"When I first got here to Lunatia, I realized something really important was missing, and I was like, 'dude, the fuck? I can't get a grand slammer in space?' So yeah. I guess that's why I established this restaurant so people can taste the AMERICAN DREAM. I did a lot of fucking to get this place built, so, I don't know, get crunk and have a good time or something, hahaha!" — Alfred F. Jones (America), Founder & Manager.

It's an inspirational (???) quote that you see on the wall in a picture frame when you walk in the charming little diner. It always seems both dimly lit with neon lights and vintage interior. Tacky, sure, but it probably takes people back several decades.

Residing on the Crystal Beach, the building is two stories tall and the first floor is a typical diner with black and white checkered board flooring, purple & turquoise cushioned booths. There's a round-a-bout up front that displays many different desserts and cakes that can be observed before purchasing. Bathrooms are also on the first level, and a stairway (called a Stairway to Heaven by the vibrant letters above it) leads to the second floor. It's a little intimidating going upstairs, both tightly closed walls decorated with an assortment of American pop art, tributes to American culture, and essentially, it's kind of like flipping through America's photo album. It's uncomfortable because it's arrogant, okay.

But hey! You made it to the second floor. The second floor is a lounge with a rounded bar taking up a good section. There's a corner that has vintage arcade games and takes coins. Couches line both walls with high stool tables in the center. The atmosphere encourages mingling & cuddling, but there's a bright sign that states no yiffing allowed, whatever that means. Adjacent to the bar, there is a small stage with a microphone, but it seems to hardly be in use. There's really no rules listed as to who can and will use it. For some godforsaken reason, everything is decorated with palm trees. So many fucking palm trees.

In general, this is a diner and lounge combo. Eat downstairs, cuddle and entertain upstairs. It's more than just an average McDonalds / Denny's restaurant.

HOURS OF OPERATION: The restaurant is 24/7, but the bar & lounge is only open from 7 pm - 3 am with extended hours on special occasions.

There's a jukebox free to use at no charge that has managed to play some of the biggest hits from Earth! But for whatever reason, it seems to play music a little different. With many attempts to fix it before complete installation, management decided to just keep it as it is, even though it'd a little cursed. Oh well. Some music is better than no music.

▶ LOCATIONS

⬦ LEVEL 1 DINING AREA: Purple, pink and turquoise as far as the eyes can see. There's a lot of palm tree and sunset decor, also many framed pictures that take up too much of the walls. The chairs and booths are far too squishy and the flooring is black and white checkered. ⬤ ⬤ ⬤ ⬤

⬦ RESTROOMS: It's kind of dark in here, isn't it? Might be an area to do some moon-lacing in secret, but really, how can you when the toilets look like how they do? ⬤ ⬤

⬦ LEVEL 1 OUTSIDE SEATING: Walk straight out from the beach for some bar-style seating and enjoy the ocean breeze!

⬦ LEVEL 2 BAR & LOUNGE: Order a drink here and pick a seat, though it's encouraged that you pick a comfy couch to sit on instead. If sitting isn't your forte, take your try at Galaga or Duck Hunt at one of the arcade machines in the corner. There's a small stage and no rules saying you can't use it, so go for it. ⬤ ⬤
